TCR Sample Results
Sample
results are based on analysis of water samples by laboratories or
field equipment. Typically, Total Coliform Rule (TCR) sample results
identify the presence of Total Coliform bacteria. Total Coliform are
bacteria used to measure the microbial quality of drinking water.
Although Total Coliforms are usually not pathogenic (disease causing)
themselves, their presence in drinking water indicates that fecal
pathogens may also be present. Fecal Coliforms are a subset of the
Total Coliform group, with Escherichia coli (E. coli)
being one of several groups categorized as Fecal Coliform.
This
web page lets you view information about all the TCR sample results
(Analyte Code must be 3100, 3013, or 3014) that met the search
criteria you specified. You
may have specified all TCR sample results in the database; or you may
have constrained the list of TCR sample results retrieved by
specifying one or more of the
following:
- Specific
water system
- Water
system type, source water type, principle county served, or point of
contact type
- Sample
